EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE
The term "emotionally unavailable" refers to those who create barriers between themselves and others in an effort to avoid emotional intimacy. Relationships with emotionally unavailable people are depressing and distressing, as their partners end up feeling neglected, unloved and unwanted. Emotionally unavailable people will actually seek out relationships with others, but the problems begin when they are unable to commit fully to their relationships. They have a host of excuses as to why they can’t be as much of a partner as you would like them to be and then they blame “timing”, and tell you that “If only things were different, you’d be the perfect "girlfriend" or "boyfriend" but that doesn’t explain why they continue to play havoc with your emotions.
Mr. and Ms. Unavailable are very much about the chase. They pursue hard, shower you with attention and lay it on thick in order to reel you in, but from the moment that you are hooked and things get comfortable, they back off. Because emotionally unavailable people often behave as if they want to be in a relationship, it's important to be able to recognize the signs that a person is emotionally unavailable. Find out the warning signs.

God cares about what concerns us
Psalm 138: 7-8
Though I walk in the midstof trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies and Your right hand will save me. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Perfect means to end, finish, accomplish, come to an end, cease, to perform and to fulfill. God will perfect (fulfill) all his promises and purposes for our life and he is committed to it. God cares about you and he is concerned about you. Never feel that God has forgotten about you or your problems and concerns.

Consider the Ant
A lot of you know that during the month of December I fast and wake for 5am prayer. I'm so amazed at the things that are being revealed to me. I opened my bible this morning and went to Proverbs 30:24-28. It was not my intent to go here but I landed there. The scripture reads:
Proverbs 30:24-28
I remember reading and studying this passage before, but it moved me so this morning that I had to put my thoughts on paper. I will share some information with you guys. I'm always referring to the dictionary when I'm reading so ofcourse I went there today because I wanted some more detail about the ant.
THE ANT (vs. 25)In verse 25 it states that ants are "not strong. I believe this to be true. After all, I can step on an ant and crush him! But in relative terms ants have amazing strength. If you've ever been at a picnic or outdoor event and dropped food and now ants are everywhere. Next time before you crush them take the time to watch them in action. While carrying this food they're tireless and strong. I read that the ant can carry ten to fifty times their own weight! That would be like a 150 lb. man carrying an object of 1,500 to 7,500 pounds! But more important than that, ants are constantly making preparation for the future. It seems they never rest. They are in constant motion as they go about their work.
Ants are also armored. Scientists call the hard, outer shell of an ant "chitin." It protects them from a hostile environment and contributes to their strength. We should be armoured as well. We live in a hostile world. All around us are evil men who would undo our faith. But God has provided us with a unique armor:
"...take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand" Ephesians 6:13.
Like the ant, we must constantly prepare for the future. We must tirelessly go about the work of the Lord. "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work" John 9:4.
* there was so much coming at me with these scriptures that I just could not put it all here. If I did it would be a book. When you have time today read up on all these animals, it will bless you.*

Proverbs 30:24-28
King James Version (KJV)24There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
25The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
26The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
27The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
28The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.
26The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
27The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
28The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.

Words have POWER!!
Mark 11:22-24
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Sometimes people can say words that can hurt us, cause discouragement and even anger. But in the Spirit words have Power and we can speak words that can change our life. We can speak blessings over our home, spouse, children,friends, family, finances, etc...Words can change your life and allow you to get in line with God's will for your life. In order to cause something that God has promised to be manifested in the natural, you must speak, or confess, His Word and agree with God! God will back up His promise and bring it pass. Speak the Word, Believe the Word, and watch how God Blesses.

Don't give up!
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Like many of you, I've wanted to quit...so many times I can't even count. Success is hard to obtain and even harder to maintain. But what keeps me going is the thought of all the negative people who are waiting on me to fail. But most importantly, I don't want to let down those who are cheering me
on to Victory.
I've included a clip from a show I did with Actor and Comedian Rodney Perry of The Monique Show and Tyler Perry's film Madea's Big Happy Family.
Don't allow anyone to discourage you about your dreams and aspirations,
Don't allow anyone to make you feel you are not qualified, for the Lord will qualify you.
Be Blessed

J. Blackfoot dies
J. Blackfoot (born John Colbert, November 20, 1946 – November 30, 2011),[1] was an American soul singer, who was a member of The Soul Children in the late 1960s and 1970s, and subsequently had a moderately successful solo career. His biggest hit was "Taxi", which reached the charts in both the US and UK in 1984.
John Colbert was born in Greenville, Mississippi, moving to Memphis, Tennessee with his family as a child. Generally known as "J." or "Jay", he acquired the nickname "Blackfoot" as a child, for his habit of walking barefoot on the tarred sidewalks. In 1965, while spending some time in Tennessee State Penitentiary in Nashville for car theft, he met Johnny Bragg, the founder of the Prisonaires vocal group.[2] After leaving prison he recorded a single under his own name for the small Sur-Speed label, before returning to Memphis, where he was heard singing in a street corner group by David Porter of Stax Records. After the plane crash that claimed the lives of Otis Redding and four members of The Bar-Kays, he joined the reconstituted group as lead singer, and performed with them for several months but did not record.[3]
In 1968, after Sam & Dave had moved from Stax to Atlantic Records, Porter and his songwriting and production partner Isaac Hayes decided to put together a new vocal group of two men and two women. They recruited Blackfoot, together with Norman West, Anita Louis, and Shelbra Bennett, to form The Soul Children. Between 1968 and 1978, The Soul Children had 15 hits on the R&B chart, including three that crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100, and recorded seven albums.[4][3]
The Soul Children disbanded in 1979. Blackfoot worked with bands in the Memphis area, and recorded solo for the local Prime Cut label. In 1983, he began working again with writer and producer Homer Banks, with whom he had recorded with The Soul Children, and recorded "Taxi", a song originally written for Johnnie Taylor but not recorded by him. Blackfoot's record rose to no. 4 on the R&B chart and no. 90 on the pop chart, also reaching no. 48 in the UK.[5][6] He recorded several albums, and had several more R&B hits on Banks' Sound Town label before moving to the Edge label formed by Al Bell in 1986. In 1987, he had another significant hit, "Tear Jerker", a duet with Ann Hines, reaching no. 28 on the R&B chart.[5][4][7] He later moved to the Basix label, continuing to release albums into the new millennium.
In 2007, Blackfoot and West reformed the Soul Children, with Hines and fourth member Cassandra Graham.[4] In 2010, Blackfoot appeared as part of David Porter's music revue.[2]
On November 30, 2011, Blackfoot died after having being diagnosed with cancer.[2]
